About Bev Barnett
Bev Barnett is an artistic adventurer, driven by the perpetual questions "what if" and "why not?"
Her fiber art sculpture speaks to adventure, joy and infinite possibility. She uses local plants to alter recycled textiles using natural dying and eco-printing techniques. Her work often incorporates used guitar strings and other found objects that some would classify as trash.
Her mixed media collage and canvas works combine eco-printed textiles and hand-made plant-based paper. Eco-printed silk scarves and eco-printed and hand-made paper cards highlight the beauty and mystery of nature.
