About Esther Marie Hall

Esther Marie Hall is a Filipino American multidisciplinary artist with a primary focus on fiber and textile art based in the Northern California area. Her work illustrates her biracial cultural identity through the use of traditional crafting techniques such as weaving, embroidery, and quilting. Esther uses her practice as a connection between a projection of consciousness and our physical world while also highlighting matters within our sociopolitical climate such as mental health, human rights, and environmental conservation. Esther's fiber and textile work is predominantly done with secondhand and up cycled materials with a means of moving towards a self sustainable practice by growing her own materials. She has worked with organizations such as the Latino Center of Art and Culture, Planned Parenthood, and Facebook, has exhibited work throughout the Pacific Northwest and Midwest, and has been a part of the Filipino American Artist Directory since 2019.
