About Farrell Scott
A Sacramento, California based photographic artist and instructor interested in exploring architecture, urban landscape, and agriculture. To challenge herself photographically, she enjoys exploring Sacramento and Yolo’s waterways, creating night images at any time of year or weather. In 2019, she completed a month-long artist in residence program at GilsfjördurArts in Westfjords, Iceland, where she concentrated on long and double exposure techniques using neutral density filters. Recognized for the natural light quality of her images and designer eye when it comes to composition, Farrell strives in her work to both maintain the artistic perspectives and characteristics of traditional photography as well as incorporate innovative technology.
