About Angela Houk
Angela Houk is the Founder/Director of New Joy Arts, a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to cultivating creativity in communities and individuals lives. She offers a wide array of fine arts classes, integrated arts programs, and creativity workshops in partnership with several community organizations for people of all ages.
In addition to her community work, Angela has studied art as a passionate pursuit for more than 30 years. Through her personal artistic journey, she is constantly finding inspiration and opportunities for creativity in the daily rhythms , as well as challenges, of family life. Beauty, grace and redemption are perpetual themes that shape her own life and work.
