About Cynthia Winton-Henry

I've studied and taught theology and the arts and make a living at that intersection. See cynthiawinton-henry.com. In my forties, I created my first "shrine" to honor fairies and then exhibited a series of shrines at Redux and Jingletown Arts in Alameda and at First Church Berkeley. I continue to enjoy finding containers and curating artful conversations between whimsical images and people. Now in Sacramento, I'm exploring acrylics and mixed media collage as a member of Sacramento Art Center and Verge Center for the Arts. I'm also the co-founder of InterPlay and an author focused on creativity and the sacred.
