Heather Galloway's work is primarily abstract and often utilizes a bold color palette her art is a mix of captivating shapes, lines, and colors, inviting viewers to contemplate their own connections with color and the effect it has on their emotions. She has been painting in acrylic for the last 15 years with a more recent shift exploring the use of hard pastels on large pieces of paper. Many of her inspirations for pieces come from the memory of a landscape, dreams and an obsession with the ways in which color informs our moods.
