About Rick Young

Born on the Jersey Shore, Rick Young has shown his creative edge since the age of three. When Rick needs a rest from the world, he turns to painting and drawing, favoring acrylic abstracts. All forms of art have been the lifeforce for Rick’s creativity, and he enjoys being free to create from the expression of the heart, making his paintings come from his soul and his faith in God. 

Rick started showing his art just a few years ago, and at the age of 71, is appreciative of the positive response to his work. The mindfulness of art has brought Rick a sense of peace.
