About Judith Monroe

Judith Monroe is a photo based mixed media artist, creating works with alternative photographic processes that blend images with color, texture, and hidden treasures waiting for discovery. Layers of physical materials like photographs and paint equate layers of meaning, representing the physical, the spiritual and memories. Judith finds inspiration by exploring the landscape and using natural specimens that she finds in her compositions.  Judith’s unique creative process has been featured in both local and national media. Her artworks are in galleries throughout the U.S. and are included in public and private collections across the globe.
