About Linda Clark Johnson
Linda Clark Johnson uses the cyanotype process to create artwork that is atmospheric, layered and intriguing. Cyanotype is a alternative photographic process that uses the sun to print images. In her work she explores soft shadows and foliage, and highlights the ethereal mood created by these elements moving in and out of focus. Her prints quietly celebrate the natural world.
New for Sac Open Studios 2023: Quilt-inspired textile collages using hand-printed fabrics in cyanotype, rust, ecoprint and dye. Come see these one-of-a-kind textile pieces on the second weekend of the tour!
