About Cassandra Nguyen Musto
Hi there!
I am a landscape architect, restoration ecologist, arborist, and artist. During the day, I spend my time managing levee construction projects, restoring damaged habitats, and evaluating the health of trees growing along the levees in the Sacramento Valley. This work provides the inspiration for my artwork where I like to play, explore, and connect to the complexity and beauty of the natural world.
My work explores and celebrates the strength, fragility, and spirit of subjects that can at first appear very ordinary or which can be overlooked entirely as we rush through our days.
Curious corvids, reflective hares, busy yet delicate pollinators, and other secretive creatures and growing things invite you to step into the quiet spaces to connect with joy and beauty.
