Hi there!
I am a recently retired landscape architect, restoration ecologist, and arborist. I am slowly becoming a full-time artist as I recover from a liver transplant I had earlier this year in February.
As I get stronger and more energetic, I'm starting to play, explore the natural world again with local hikes and ventures. It's so revitalizing to get out in nature again!
My work explores and celebrates the strength, fragility, and spirit of subjects that can at first appear very ordinary or which can be overlooked entirely as we rush through our days.
Curious corvids, reflective hares, busy yet delicate pollinators, and other secretive creatures and growing things invite you to step into the quiet spaces to connect with joy and beauty.
