Hildie Spautz is an American-Luxembourgish-Australian artist and professional restoration ecologist. Her art includes encaustic painting, cyanotypes, monoprints, photography, digital, and animations, and the use of artificial intelligence tools. Her art is informed by studies in language, cartography, ancient history, Tibetan Buddhism, Japanese ceramics, ornithology, and botany. She uses digitally altered images and geometric patterns to map dreams, spiritual and physical journeys, nature, and scientific understanding of ecology and climate change.
