About Jacquie Tyrell
I began working in clay in the late 1990s. I found a home, a place to explore a previously unknown creative part of myself.
I enjoy working with texture and am always looking for objects to create texture in clay. I use a combination of nature elements such as rocks, shells, pinecones and man-made elements such as lace and stamps. In my travels I enjoy finding different objects to bring home and incorporate in my work.
I create a combination of functional and sculptural pieces. I hope you enjoy my works as much as I enjoy creating them.
